Snowshoeing

With the weather warming up (its now above zero during the day) Karl took Aleisha and myself out on a bit of a hike to Chester Lake. Of course as there is still lots of snow about hiking becomes snowshoeing, which turned out to be quite a fun experience.

Karl our tour guide, he wasn't very knowledgeable but I guess you get what you pay for.

The end result of trying to run with snow shoes through deep snow.

After a while we got the hang of it (photo thanks to Karl)

What is snow?
Good to see you finally got out amongst it. I am currently working out how many days of hiking to do on the honey moon.

So is Adelle coming on the honey moon?
You should really come to Canada at some point, you will love it here. Lots of Mountains, nice and cold, the people are friendly, cars give way to pedestrians, lots of cycle paths...

Cycle paths sounds great my bike has just about rusted away from lack of use here.
Yes Adelle is looking forward to the honey moon but after the crap I have to go through for the wedding she is lucky we are not going ice climbing in Russia.
