Thanks for the link to the lens reviews they were good and really seemed to like the 70-200, the only problem with that lens being the brutal price. It costs more than the camera. Might just get the body for now and worry about lenses later but who knows.

I think I will get a 40D soon.
Still not sure what lens to get.
What do you think of the following two.
Canon EF 70-200mm f/4.0 L IS USM
Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM
I'm leaning towards the 70-200.

Also dont forget that with the 1.6 crop factor your 24mm becomes a 38mm, which is not very wide.
