Easter Crucifiction

Over the Easter long weekend Aleisha and I had the pleasure of accompanying Karl and Jo on a Alpine Ski Touring trip to Egypt Lake. While it was only 12km to the hut, the combination of >20 kg packs, rental gear and our poor fitness meant that the first day was a 8 hr crucification. Thankfully on the second day we rested before being reborn on the third. All and all a great trip, very character building.

It was pretty nice, much better than sweating your guts out when its 40 C and being covered in flies. Although we may change our minds when we see our first Grizzly.

Yes at least in NSW the animals only attack in self defense. Have you got your gun license yet?
